2019 Tampa Bay Repeal Day Gala
Time & Location
About the Event
This year, the gala will also celebrate the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair, an event that fell on the centennial anniversary of the city’s birth. With aerial acrobatics, vaudeville acts, two live bands, and much, much more, the gala will be a luxurious celebration of the 86th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition.
In the Tampa Bay Repeal Day Gala’s 10 years, the event has grown from 35 people gathered in the Don Vicente Hotel’s basement speakeasy to a multi-floor event at The Cuban Club. Over the past three years, an average of 700 guests have been in attendance. “2019 is looking to be our fairest and most spectacular gala ever”.
Each year, the event is organized by the non-profit U.S. Bartenders Guild of Tampa Bay. In its previous nine events, the gala has raised over $130,000 for charities including Beat NB (neuroblastoma), The Cuban Club, The Museum of the American Cocktail, and the USBG of Tampa Bay. Its industry sponsors and volunteers hail from more than 27 U.S. states including Puerto Rico.
The event is now not only an incredible party/gala for industry personnel and industry leaders in the cocktail world, it now includes an educational component with seminars days before the party. Speakers from all over the nation come to enlighten others with their experiences and genius.
